  • Creator: Disney
  • Year debut: 1935
  • Voice: Clarence Nash
  • First heard: Pluto's Judgement Day

  • Owner: The Walt Disney Company (1935-1983), Sound Ideas (1983-present)

The sound first debuted in "Pluto's Judgement Day" in 1935 as a vocal effect done by Clarence Nash. By the 1950's, Warner Bros. and other studios (like DePatie-Freleng Enterprises) would later used it in their cartoons, television shows, movies and other media. But after the 1980's, the sound effect would fade into obscurity on its frequent use, and is now a days rarely used in media and animation today (although Sound Ideas included this in the International Sound Effects Library).
